On April 18, 2025, NexGen Manufacturing hosted its Q2 Town Hall at our Knightstown facility — a quarterly tradition that brings together employees from across departments to align on company goals, share updates, and recognize the individuals who help drive our success forward.
We were honored to welcome special guests Brett Carrington and Matt Ottinger from the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. Brett spoke about the Chamber’s mission to support Indiana businesses and shared valuable insights and resources available to manufacturers like NexGen. We’re proud to be part of such a supportive network and look forward to continued collaboration with the Chamber.
The Town Hall also featured presentations from NexGen’s executive leadership:
-
Daniel Webster, Chief Operating Officer, shared a clear vision for Q2 production goals and reflected on the challenges successfully overcome in Q1. His transparency and steady leadership continue to align teams and push operational performance forward.
-
Tim Riethmiller, Chief Commercial Officer, presented earnings reports and key performance indicators, noting that NexGen exceeded expectations across several categories. His overview showcased the strength of our commercial strategy and highlighted the hard work of teams across the company.
CEO Allen Mills closed the event with a message of encouragement and gratitude, stating:
“We’ve done a lot of good things in this first quarter with our new leadership team in place and feel really good about where our future is headed. I just want to encourage everybody to keep working — on-time delivery is so critical to growing our business and keeping our current customers happy.”
He went on to add:
“The quality goes without saying. Everyone wants good quality — and you all are doing a great job. We just need to keep moving in the direction we’re going. I appreciate each and every one of you. Your effort matters.”
A highlight of the morning was the presentation of NexGen’s first-ever Core Value Award, recognizing team members who go above and beyond to embody our cultural values. This quarter’s award for Ownership was proudly presented to Dakota Wilkinson, whose initiative, follow-through, and leadership made a clear impact over the past quarter. Dakota’s contributions are a testament to what personal accountability and pride in work truly look like.
At NexGen, we believe that transparency and communication are key to long-term success. These quarterly Town Halls ensure that every team member understands where we’re headed and how their work contributes to the bigger picture — because when everyone has the information, we move forward together.
Thank you to the entire NexGen Manufacturing team for your continued drive and commitment to excellence. And congratulations again to Dakota on a well-earned recognition.
Together, we’re building the future of American manufacturing — one quarter at a time.
